Craig Jungwirth’s Courtroom Meltdown
By John Hayden

A man accused of terrorizing and harassing members of South Florida’s LGBTQ community terrorized people in a courtroom and was dragged out by deputies.
It all went down the morning of Monday, Nov. 10, in Judge Duffy’s 17th Circuit courtroom in Broward County.
People who watched everything were stunned, with one calling it a “spectacle.” They say he first tried to interrupt the judge, which earned him a quick scolding. That escalated to yelling and potentially-violent behavior. Witnesses say deputies rushed to subdue him and had to “drag him out” of the courtroom.
As he was removed, he could be heard demanding medical attention.
Claims of being infirm at his last hearing led to a month-long delay.
Jungwirth is accused of harassing people via electronic communications and is being held without bond after skipping hearings.
He was captured in Orange County in Sept. 2024 and has been in custody ever since.
Courtroom observers noted that his 14 months and counting jail stint have been hard on him. He appears to have lost significant weight and today appeared to have a bruise around one of his eyes.
Jury selection and trial, which has been delayed multiple times due to his antics or procedural issues, is now set to begin Jan. 12, 2026.
