Wicked Manors is going to be wicked good this Halloween. David Archuleta is going to play the outdoor stage at Hunters. The “American Idol” season seven alum announced his Island City return.
"I’ve heard so much about the energy of Wicked Manors. I’m excited to join Hunters and HarmonyWaves to celebrate community, acceptance, and a Halloween we’ll all remember.”
Archuleta first played the city as the headliner of Rock the Block in February 2025.
Wicked Manors is the annual street party produced by The Pride Center every Halloween. Wilton Drive is closed to cars but filled with pedestrians rocking creative costumes from Tropics to Rosie’s. There are several categories for costume contests and Archuleta is ready to show up and show out.
“I can’t wait to see everyone’s colorful costumes, and I’d better start working on mine now!”
This year’s theme is Eden After Dark, Temptation Awaits.
The festival is cashless, meaning tickets can be purchased through the website. Admission to Archuleta’s show, as well as to all the stages and outdoor performances that night, are included in the cost.
Archuleta became an overnight sensation as the cute and talented “Idol” contestant. His perfect voice and innocent appearance made him a huge favorite. He grew up Mormon and has talked about the difficulties of reconciling his ingrained faith and his innate sexuality.
He will further detail that journey in his new book, “Devout, Losing My Faith To Find Myself,” which is set for release in February.
“His journey and his voice inspire people to live authentically. We’re honored to welcome him back to Wilton Manors for a night that celebrates who we are,” Gary Van Horn, HarmonyWaves’ president, said.

Island City Stage caps off its season with a new show. “At the Wedding” by Bryna Turner is a pleasant comedy about Carlo attending her ex’s wedding (to a man!) and along the way we get to meet all sorts of characters from the wedding; the bridesmaid who always hated Carlo, a slightly tipsy guest who plans on asking his beloved to marry him at the reception, another wedding guest who keeps hitting on Carlo, and the mother of the bride, who wishes her daughter was marrying Carlo.

WANING GIBBOUS MOON IN TAURUS: Rebalancing effort and connection.
You’ve been patient—nurturing something in your career or love life with care—but now comes the question: is the energy you’re giving being met? Whether at work or in your relationships, a powerful bond or new connection stirs, but emotional imbalance may be creating tension beneath the surface. This is a moment to pause and recalibrate. What feels one-sided can be healed through honesty and renewed alignment. Taurus urges you to slow down, listen to your body, and return to what feels real. The potential is here — but it needs harmony to grow.
