After taking the usual summer hiatus, city commissioners returned to deal with a few issues at their Aug. 27 meeting.
Perhaps the most high-profile item was the unanimous vote to issue a permit allowing Wicked Manors to return on Halloween. The annual street festival wasn’t really in doubt, but given other issues with major events in recent years, it is still worth noting that the city is on board.
Commissioner Don D’Arminio noted that the current advertised cost is $10 in advance and $13 day of. He received support to add a line in the permit saying admission costs will not increase between now and the party.
