Martina Navratilova is extremely vocal in her transphobic views. Now, she’s feeling the backlash.
The tennis icon was planning to attend the Wilton Manors Holiday Spectacular on Monday where her wife, “Real Housewives of Miami” star Julia Lemigova, was set to perform.
Now, Lemigova has been uninvited and, presumably, Navratilova will be a no-show.

#2: Beloved Owner of Pub On the Drive Dies

Michael Connell, the owner of Pub On the Drive, has passed away. Friends say he died overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. He suffered a stroke about a month ago, but the news of his death still came as a surprise. Connell appeared to be making a full recovery, and was making plans.

One of the most flamboyant and iconic LGBTQ restaurant chains is having trouble making it in Wilton Manors. Again.
Over the past few days, Hamburger Mary’s, located at 2426 Wilton Drive, has popped up on multiple real estate listing services.
